I cant be losing project with the click of a save button. So the response from Adobe about their crappy editing Premiere Pro cc platform was to be expected. In other words every time they send you an update you have to start a new project from scratch. What makes you think I want to spend hours recreating a program I spent weeks on, just to keep up with your endless updates?
I really think this defeats the purpose of having an edit system to work on, if you have to stop in the middle of your work and restart a project because Adobe decided to issue some meaningless update. My question is why didn’t they issue this warning with the update that you should not do so in the middle of working on a project? Obviously, we’re supposed to read their minds at Adobe. How wonderful it is for the many thousands of people who have issued complaints on their website and yet their only response is “Well it’s your fault dummy.
A lot of us do not have multiple degrees in computer science. We are simply hard-working Joe’s out here trying to make a living with your freaking stupid product. If you do not want to make it user-friendly, maybe you should be in another business.
Because the fact is the majority of the people using your product are not rocket scientists. Maybe once you figure that out you will have fewer people complaining about your increasingly frustrating product.
All I know is once my subscription is up , I won’t be back. Are you kidding me? A highly-profitable company, and they’re not satisfied with that, they need to bilk people more and more?
Avid is the gold standard in Hollywood for professional video editing, and this free version has most of everything you’ll ever need. Avid’s management is smart enough to realize that you don’t get so greedy that you kill the golden goose, unlike the incompetent, short-sighted management of Adobe, who has now managed to make the brand one of the most hated around.
They know if they give a little, they’ll get a lot in return – a lot of people skilled on their platform, and Premiere Pro will soon find its way into the dustbin of history. I’m sure it is not the program that’s the issue here, but my inexperience and lack of knowledge.
It is a bit disappointing to be good at Photoshop but still wind up being a total amateur with this program. I have not found the skill transfer to be very substantial. Microsoft’s free and simple program gets me as good a result if not better since I have yet to master this one. I will keep working at it.
I know I’ll improve. Photoshop had Aaron Nace available as a teacher on YouTube. I have not found anyone of that skill level for this program. Instability caused by Windows 10 Home bit updates result in crashes resolved temporarily by new custom installs of Windows. The paces of necessary updates also introduces new crashes.
